How to Create a Drip Automation

Step-by-step creating a Drip Automation (campaign)

PLEASE NOTE: With Drip Automations the shipments it is BEST Practices to add them in the ORDER you want them shipped

  1. Go to Saved Automations (left navigation bar)

  2. Click on Create a New Automation (top right)

  3. Name Automation **Required

  4. Select DRIP (Time Release) Automation

  5. Click Create A New Automation button at the bottom

    1. note: automation defaults to paused status, best practices are to keep the automation in pause until you are sure it's ready to activate

  6. Click Add your First Shipment (click the Plus sign for additional shipments)

  7. Click Add an item

  8. Click the tab next the Gifts tab for Saved projects to access your projects

  9. Select the card/postcard or gift you wish to add to this shipment

    1. note: if you wish to add multiple items to this one shipment, repeat steps 7-9

  10. What you have in this shipment is what will go in one package/shipment

  11. On the right Name your shipment (suggestion: name shipments similar to the project going out)

  12. When to Send Generally the First shipment is left at 0 (immediately)

  13. If you have a URL for a Dynamic QR code for THIS shipment specifically, add it in the section indicated.

  14. Click Save Shipment

  15. Check the new project(s) are in place and this shipment looks correct (make any edits if necessary)

  16. Repeat steps 6-14 for any additional shipments to be added

    1. Important: Step 8 enter the number of days after the previous shipment you want the next shipment to go out.

  17. Once your shipments are built out; at the top of the page click Manage Recipients

  18. Click on Connect a Group/Mailing List (left side) - recommended

    1. alternatively you can enroll contacts individually - you may want to add yourself

  19. Click on Enroll this Group / Mailing List next to the one you want to enroll

  20. This will take you back to the Manage Recipient area.

  21. If you want to enroll another group repeat steps 18 & 19

  22. Once the groups are enrolled and you are ready: Click Activate Automation

    1. Note: you can activate automation from Main Automations page too: click Launch and select Activate Automation

  23. If you wish, contact Help Chat to check the automation before Activating

  24. You are done!
